Stevenson Screen

Stevenson Screen – commonly used as an instrument shelter for housing meteorological instruments like hygrometer, thermometer and barometer etc in outdoor environment. It protect the sensors of the instrument from being influenced by direct or reflected sunlight and also helps to provide some degree of protection from the weather.

When choosing a stevenson screen, there are some criterias that are usually considered as follow:

• Size – the size of the stevenson screen should be big enough to house the instruments
• Ventilation – the stevenson screen should have adequate ventilation to allow air to circulate freely
• Colour – white colour is usually preferred as it can better reflect solar radiation

• White (upgrade)
